Fordingbridge Junior School

Ofsted carried out a graded Inspection at Fordingbridge Junior School in April 2023.

Kim Robertson, Executive head writes;

'We are extremely pleased with the result and feel we received outstanding in the areas that really matter and were very close in the other two areas. Our vision has always and continues to have safe happy children and the centre of everything we do. This is very evident in the report.

The area of development was that a few children were unable to recall past learning and recognise that learning is not in isolation but subjects and content within subjects are linked. Some children who spoke to the inspector struggled to identify the links. This, in turn impacted the leadership and management outcome.

We are, however, really pleased with the report and are very proud of the children and staff who went about their daily business on the two days and that the inspectors were able to see what a wonderful place Fordingbridge Junior School is.
